Inter House Computer Quiz For Grade III-V (25th July'17)

Mayor World School presents a platform for the students in multiple fields to hone their skills, strengthen their I.Q. and build confidence for the holistic growth.


An Inter-House Computer Quiz was held for Grades III-V on 25th July in the school premises that presented multitude of talents and got overwhelming response from the audience showing their interest in Information Technology.


Four students from each of the four houses: Dickens, Keats, Shakespeare and Wordsworth participated enthusiastically in the competition.


There were five amazing rounds comprising of: Know thy basics-which comprised of multiple choice questions; IT Personal- which had two rounds, visual round and Apps round related to the names of famous personalities in the field of technology; Let’s Dismantle had abbreviations related to computers; History of computer and Shortcut Mania- to judge the basic terminology used for different commands. In the end, ten questions were asked from each team in Rapid Fire Round which showed neck and neck competition.


The team comprising of Nandita Tangri, Hansika Puri, Meir Singh Pandher and Raghav Malhotra of Keats House bagged the first position followed by Shakespeare House.


The Principal, Mr. J.S. Hundal encouraged the participants for their competitive spirit and applauded the teachers and students to keep up the spirits high in future too, as such competitions are the potential learning tools. He congratulated the winners and awarded the merit certificates to the winners.


The session was indeed a wonderful platform for the students and the audience.
