Art and craft occupy an indispensable place in our curriculum. It plays an important role in child's holistic development and helps in enhancement of esthetic sense of a child.

Keeping this in mind, Mayor World School organised an Inter House Painting Competition for students of Grade VI to VIII in the school premises on 3rd May 2018. The topic for competition was “Flower in desert”. Two students from each of the four houses namely Dickens, Keats, Shakespeare and Wordsworth participated and exhibited their artistic flair.

The energy levels and the excitement of the participants was over-whelming, and it also turned out to be a herculean task for the judges too. However, Chitaj Mayor of VIII A and Chinmaye Jain of VII C represented by Shakespeare House created an eye capturing painting on the given theme and bagged the 1st position.   The students of Dickens House and Wordsworth House secured the 2nd position.
