Inter House PowerPoint Competition Grades VI to VIII (27th Oct 2017)




 

Competitions provide the students with an opportunity to be able to apply their knowledge in a fun filled, challenging and a competitive way. To boost up their knowledge, an Inter House PowerPoint Competition for grades VI to VIII was held at Mayor World School. The topic for the competition was “Impact of G.S.T and Indian Economy.”

 

All the teams participated actively. Each team had four participants who proved their skill in the brain drill. One hour was given to the participants to gather the information from internet and prepare the PowerPoint presentation. In their slides they had described the powerful impacts of GST on the overall development of the economy. The participants displayed a commendable level of awareness and knowledge. They gave each other a tough fight for the top honors.

 

The Vice Chairperson Ms. Neerza Mayor and the Principal Mr. J.S. Hundal visited the venue and appreciated the efforts of the participants. Shakespeare, Keats and Dickens house stayed neck to neck throughout the competition. Harmanjot, Arshdeep, Ameera and Keshav of Dickens House won the competition followed by Sakhi, Jhanvi, Suvan and Mehul of Keats house.

 

The Principal Mr. J.S. Hundal congratulated the teachers and the students for conducting such a fabulous competition and said that such competitions bring life to the school and bring out the best in students. He encouraged the children to develop the desire to question as it helps them to know what is going on in the world around us.
