Inter House Punjabi Debate Competition (17th may 2018)




“We must speak our minds openly, debate our agreements honestly, but always pursue solidarity.”

 

In order to motivate the students, to overcome their stage fear and to be articulate while expressing the thoughts, Mayor School organized an Inter House Punjabi Debate Competition on 17th May 2018.

 

The students of all four houses spoke eloquently for the motion and against the motion-“Reservation”. The session was motley of opinions, thoughts, ideas and perspectives that enhanced the knowledge and understanding about the current situation in the country which will make them more prepared for their future endeavours.

 

The students were well prepared for the purpose and charmed the audience to a great extent with their performance. The judges for the day, Mr. Mangal Singh and Ms. Seema Soni, the Assistant Programming Director of Radio City were highly pleased with the logical presentation of the participants.

 

Charanassees (VII-A) of Shakespeare House and Gurasees (VIII-C) of Words worth House were adjusted as the best speakers of this event.

 

Keats House bagged the first position and Wordsworth got the second position in this competition

 

The Vice Chairperson Ms. Neerza Mayor witnessed the event. She praised and encouraged the efforts of the participants and was very supportive and motivational source for them.
