Inter House Wealth Out of Waste Competition Grades III-V (26th July 2018)

“Creativity is making marvellous out of the discarded.”

In order to make children aware of uses of waste material, and to teach them about reducing waste to save our future, a ‘Wealth out of Waste’ Competition was organised for students of Grades III-V on Thursday, July 26, 2018.

Mind-blowing, beyond expectation, fantabulous ideas were demonstrated by the students. Right from waste ropes to broken bangles, plastic bottles, old tyres, fruit boxes every waste material was used and the result was a hall full of projects made out of waste. The imagination of the children did not have any boundaries.

The judges were astonished to see the work submitted by each one and they did find it very difficult to judge the entries.

The Vice Chairperson, Ms. Neerza Mayor  and the Principal, Ms. Suman Rana appreciated the efforts of the students and motivated them to inculcate the habit of recycling and reusing the waste products.

The result was as follows- First position was bagged by Keats House  comprising Alyna Gumber of Grade V-D, Chahna Kundra of Grade IV-C, Lavanya Midha of Grade IV-C and Zaira Arora of Grade III-C. Shakespeare House bagged the second position followed by Wordsworth House and Dickens House.
