Inter School Annual Chairman's Debate - 2015 (17th Oct '15)




 
 
A new initiative of the School , the  Inter School Annual Chairman's Debate took place on October 17 '15, in which many participants from various renowned institutions of the city participated enthusiastically. This battle of brains was fought over the given topic 'India's take on global terrorism is a disadvantage to the state'. The programme commenced with a serene prayer dance from Kerala, followed by the hot session of debate. The participants presented their congruous thoughts before the audience.


Amongst the present dignitaries  were the Vice Chairperson of the School Ms.Neerza Mayor, Director Ms. Jyoti Nagranee. The conscientious jury comprised of Ms Nina Singh, a veteran teacher from St. Joseph Convent School, Mr. Simarpreet Singh- a motivational speaker and the founder of Cutting Edge Learning Systems, Ms.Tarveen Kaur- co-founder and Growth Catalyst at Cutting Edge Learning Systems highly applauded and appreciated the thoughts and opinions of the participants and asked them questions in rebuttal round.


Sanyam Kumar and Ansha Chadda from M.G.N. Public School, Urban Estate II bagged the first prize and clinched the rolling trophy.The second position was attained by Vaibhav Gupta and Simarpreet of the Mayor World School , but being the host of the event, the School passed on its position to the following team from D.P.S. Jalandhar,  followed by M.G.N. Public School, Adarsh Nagar.
