Mayorites’ Walk For Values (28th Oct 2017)

“Try not to become a person of success, but rather try to become a person of value.” Said Albert Einstein

The moral values in life hold great importance from the personal, social and spiritual point of view. Wisdom, truth, temperance, humility, non violence, justice, contentment are few of the virtues necessary for a seeker to prepare the mind for the knowledge of the self and to turn this world a better place to live in.

On October 28, 2017, the Mayorites walked shoulder to shoulder and hand in hand in ‘Walk for Values’- a walkathon organized by Sathya Sai Organisation in Jalandhar to raise awareness for human values and to draw attention to the urgent need to practice them in our community and halt the social and environmental ills.

Under the aegis of the Vice Chairperson, Ms. Neerza Mayor and the Principal Mr. J. S. Hundal the staff and students of the School participated enthusiastically in the ‘Walk’.,  The Mayotites, along with hundreds of other students from various schools  and the dignitaries initiated the 1.5 k.m. long ‘Walk’ from Guru Gobind Singh Stadium. The students were holding the banners and flags depicting the ‘Values of Life’

The ‘Walk’ culminated at the stadium with refreshment to the participants and a vibrant cultural show presented by students.

Each step taken during the ‘Walk for values’ was a step towards a positive change, making you the best version of yourself.
