Prakriti Mahotsav (21st August 2018)

We do not inherit the Planet from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children

Our environment is the greatest gift of Mother Nature to us. A clean and green environment is vital to have a peaceful and healthy life, but because of the negligence of human beings, we have put nature on threshold of devastation. In order to make the generations to come more sensitive and concerned about their environment and to reinforce positive attitude and values towards preserving it and to promote the CBSE initiative of planting trees under Mission Green School and to reinforce our conviction in our strength to assure welfare of present and future generations, a sapling plantation drive was undertaken to support the programme ‘Mission Green Schools’ of CBSE.
