Christmas, is that time of the year when there’s the sweet smell of crisp ginger-bread men in the air, the time of the year when despite the dripping mercury, the atmosphere is filled with warmth because of bright smiles and the sense of festivity.
Christmas is the perfect time to celebrate the love of God and to create memories that last forever. It is the festival which inspires the spirit of sharing and caring.Soaking in the spirit of Christmas, Mayor World School celebrated the festival with great zest and fervour for the students of Mayor Galaxy, and Grade I and II, in its beautifully decorated premises on Tuesday, 24th December 2019.
The whole campus was adorned with Christmas decorations- the Christmas tree, Santa Clause, gifts and to imbibe in students, the remarkableness of unusuality, a fun filled activity ‘Crazy Hairstyles’ was organised keeping the motive ‘Normal is Boring’ in mind.
The zealous students came with the wackiest, the weirdest and the most enticing hair designs that they could imagine using hair gels, colours, Christmas bells, lights, toys, gifts, Santa caps, glitters, nests, birds, trees, flowers and what not.
With Carols echoing in the campus, wearing the shades of red, white and green, the little Mayorites spread the aura of festivity and exuberance and added to the merry spirit of Christmas.
It was indeed a feast for the eyes to see the tiny tots of the school, dressed up so uniquely and artistically.The elements of energy and momentum could be witnessed in the children as they came all decked up to enjoy this day.
The Vice Chairperson Ms.Neerza Mayor, the Director cum Principal Ms.Sarita Madhok, the Deputy Vice Principal Ms.Charu Trehan and the Head Mistress, Mayor Galaxy Ms. Aarti Gulati, highly appreciated and lauded the efforts pitched in by the parents and also commended the whole hearted participation of the students. They also stated that Christmas is a time to cherish peace, goodwill and to be plenteous in mercy.
