“You can’t buy happiness but you can buy a chocolate and that’s kind of same thing”
Chocolate is loved by everyone across the world. It not only acts as a good stress buster and a mood lifter but is also good for health.The chocoholics at Mayor World School, Jalandhar celebrated Chocolate Day on July 7th, 2021, in a scrumptious way.
Using Online mode sudents from Mayor Galaxy were shown a video presentation on how Chocolate is made.Through videos and presentations, they learned that chocolates are made from cocoa beans, which when processed in the factory bring out varieties of chocolates.An interesting story about chocolate was depicted by the teachers and students enjoyed their favorite chocolates and had a great time relishing them along with it.
Grade I-III learnt about the History of discovery of chocolate , country that makes the best chocolates and the country that consumes chocolate the most through video presentation and learned some lip-smacking chocolate recipes from their teachers under ‘Make and Eat’ Activity. ‘Literary Activities’ related to the day were also conducted like using verbs, adjective and nouns in a sentence with name of the favourite chocolate.
The management applauded the effort of the teachers and students, the activities added to the knowledge of students and made learning a fun process.
