“Without change there is no innovation, creativity, or incentive for improvement. Those who initiate change will have a better opportunity to manage the change that is inevitable.” The thought quoted by William Pollard stands true for the dynamic world of today where change is considered the only constant.
With a view to inspire, popularise and inculcate scientific temper among the children of our country, a two day CBSE regional Science Exhibition was organised at BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana. The theme was ‘Technology and Toy’. Around seventy-two CBSE affiliated schools participated and exhibited their science models embedded with creativity and inspiration. Our creative students of Mayor World School Vanshika Dilwari of Grade VII B and Suhan Jain of Grade VII D also galvanised their ideas and brought forward their model named ‘Eco Friendly Drain Expert’ into implementation under ‘ Eco friendly materials.’ This model was based on fighting the current challenges in regards to environmental turmoil, putting waste into constructive use. This model based on sustainable living won the heart of the jury and was chosen to compete at the National Level. The Science department played an important role in chiselling the efforts of the students.
The School Management appreciated the winners and their mentors and wished them success for their future endeavours.
