“Carnival is an explosion of colours led by happy swinging people”
To celebrate the festive hues and enter the world of wonder and exuberance, Mayor World School organised the Christmas Carnival, ‘December to Remember‘ to usher in the winter fervour. The carnival began at 3:30p.m. The stalls were beautifully embellished to welcome the guests. The pompous spectacle included vibrant stalls encompassing aromatic Food stalls, Ferris-wheel, Nano Car, Columbus ,Music and Dance and Fun games like Tambola, Holly Haul, Dash and Decorate, Imprisoned at the North Pole, Hit the Matka , Miraculous Seven, Toss the Basket Balls, Snow Bowling, Chocolate Wheel, Luck keylaus with Santa Claus , Christmas Quoits, Sock and sparkle, Mistletoe magic, Frost and fire ,Feeding the snowman, Xmas bling with a String, Football Spirit, Aim the Christmassy Cone, Dashing through the Snow and Ring the Reindeer A special stall for Addidas discounted footwear was also displayed.
All the game stalls were managed by teachers and students. Imprisoned At the North Pole(Behind the bar) exhilarated the children as they got a chance to imprison their friends and teachers and later bailed.
The main attraction was Tambola where attractive gifts were won by the participants. Besides the games, ‘Lucky Dip’ , Tarot Cards , Kabir Creations, Coma , Disha Stationary Corner and ‘Lucky Draw’ also captured the attention of the visitors in which they won gifts from the sponsors. Everyone got enraptured by ‘Jiggs and Salsa’ Zone. ‘Tattoo’ stall also arrested the attention of the art lovers.
Hero Cycles Sponsored the Bumper price and PNB Bank stall was also present. Hero Cycle Bumper Price was won by Reyansh Sethi.
Decked up in dazzling hues, the school had an ambience of merriment and joy. The exuberance and zeal exhibited by the enthusiastic visitors and participants made the Winter Carnival 2022, the indelible one.
The Chairman Mr. Rajesh Mayor, Vice Chairperson Mrs. Neerza Mayor Director Ms Sarita Madhok, Principal Ms Harjeet kaur Ghuman, Vice Chair person Ms Charu Trehan, and headmistress Mayor Galaxy Ms Aarti Ghulati graced the event. The endeavours made by the students were highly appreciated by the Vice Chairperson under whose estimable guidance and ideas the school could put up a resplendent show. The Director asserted that the school has been a trailblazer in organising not only academic events, but also many productive extra- curricular activities so as to focus on all round development of the students.
