To ignite the spirit of patriotism among the students and make them understand the significance of Unity in Diversity , Mayor Galaxy , the pre-primary wing of Mayor World School, organised a splendid event ‘Adorn India’ on Monday, 14th August 2023 .The Chairman, Mr Rajesh Mayor and the Vice Chairperson, Ms. Neerza Mayor graced the exuberant occasion. The tiny tots of Mayor Galaxy brought alive various states and Union territories of the country. Dressed in traditional attires , young Mayorites represented ,Goa , Jammu and Kashmir , Punjab , Himachal Pradesh ,Haryana , Gujarat , Maharashtra , Kerala , Delhi and West Bengal . Everyone was mesmerised with confident munchkins waving tricolour flag in their little hands . Various artefacts and varied cuisines of these regions were also exhibited .
The Director, Ms Sarita Madhok and the Deputy Vice Principal, Ms Charu Trehan interacted with the students and commended them for their zeal. Mayo Airlines and children dressed up as celebrities were the chief attraction . Parents in tricolour attires added to the patriotic fervour.
The School Management appreciated the industrious endeavours of the teachers and the parents and extolled the students for their whole hearted participation.
