“Life is vibrant for those who possess imagination, visualisation, and the ability to paint their thoughts with elegance.”
To offer young minds a chance to articulate their ideas through colours on the occasion of Basant Panchami, a freehand Painting Competition, ‘Rangotsav,’ was organised by Mayor World School for the students on 14th February 2024 ,during school hours. It was a day filled with joy, laughter, inspiration, and talent as the young stars brought their imagination to life on canvas.
Mayor Galaxy and Grade I to V were assigned the theme ‘Spring Season,’ while Grades VI to VIII explored the theme ‘Life on Earth.’ The participants provided a glimpse of their future in artwork, which appeared promising, remarkably impressive, and teeming with imagery. They astounded the judges with their creative paintings. The background music further enriched the atmosphere, and the children eagerly participated in the competition. The budding artists utilised their preferred medium and poured their hearts onto the canvas with a variety of colours and shades, creating an assortment of inspiring artworks. Their adept use of colours and designs was commendable.
On this auspicious occasion, a Havan was also solemnised to seek the divine blessings, especially for the students of classes X and XII , appearing for Board Examinations. The Vice Chairperson Ms. Neerza Mayor, the Director Ms. Sarita Madhok, and the Deputy Vice Principal Ms. Charu Trehan graced the event and showered their blessings upon the students.
