Mayor World School ignited the spark of environmental awareness and teamwork amongst its young scholars with an Inter House EVS Quiz Competition for Grade III to V, conducted on 4th February 2025.
The four houses – Dickens, Keats, Shakespeare, and Wordsworth – clashed in a battle of wits, each featuring four bright and ambitious participants. The competition was a resounding success, with students showcasing their expertise in Environmental Science and demonstrating exceptional teamwork, critical thinking, and quick reflexes.
The six rounds of the quiz were carefully crafted to test the students’ knowledge, strategy, and creativity. The brilliant team from Shakespeare House comprising Aryamann Talwar (V-C), Anahita Noor Kaur (V-E), Aurik Mittal (IV-D), and Kiahna Soni (III-A), emerged victorious.Keats House and Dickens House followed closely, sharing the second place, while Wordsworth House secured the third position.
The winners were felicitated with certificates amidst thunderous applause. The Principal ,Ms. Divya Keni and the Vice Principal ,Ms. Charu Trehan commended the winners for their outstanding performances. The EVS Quiz Competition was a testament to the School’s commitment to fostering a culture of curiosity, innovation, and environmental responsibility among its students.
