This once-neglected spot has now been converted into a beautifully landscaped public space named ‘NAMASTAY JALANDHAR’, a proud representation of the city’s cultural ethos and Mayor World’s unwavering dedication to cleanliness and beautification. The space offers a welcoming respite for residents and visitors, encouraging community interaction and civic pride.
Further adding to the grandeur of this transformation, a stunning structure with a fountain, decorative poles, and elegant chains has been built at the T Junction of Model Town. This visually appealing structure adds a touch of elegance and charm, resembling a mini version of India Gate, instantly becoming a recognizable landmark and a source of civic pride. The main location, formerly known as “I Love Jalandhar,” has been completely renovated and renamed “Sat Sri Akal Jalandhar”, inscribed in Punjabi. This renaming is a heartfelt tribute to Punjab’s rich culture, language, and heritage, reinforcing pride in our roots and the importance of preserving our linguistic and cultural identity for generations to come.
