Mayor World School proudly hosted its Annual Investiture Ceremony on 5th August 2025, a momentous occasion enshrined in the School’s calendar that heralded the formal induction of the Student Council for the academic year 2025–26. Mr. Vivek Kumar Modi, IAS, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Jalandhar, graced the function as the Chief Guest.
The ceremony was held with intense earnestness and symbolised the reliance and resilience that the institution entrusts in the newly formed senate of the School.
The proceedings commenced with the auspicious lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a captivating dance performance by the exceptionally talented Mayorites, whose artistry and grace set the tone for an inspiring and unforgettable evening.
The event was further dignified by the presence of the Vice Chairperson,Ms.Neerza Mayor who presided over the function with distinction. Ms.Chahat Mayor and the trustee of Mayor World School, Mr.Chitaj Mayor, also honoured the gathering as the special guests.
The Vice Principal, Ms.Charu Trehan addressed the august gathering emphasising the importance of leadership and responsibility in shaping the future. She urged the newly elected student council members to fulfil their responsibilities with a clear conscience, setting the right attitude to work.
The beginning of the prestigious investiture ceremony was marked by marching of the Student Council with high degree of sincerity and discipline.
The Chief Guest,the Vice Chairperson , the Vice Principal , the House Mistresses and the Deputy House Mistresses conferred the badges upon the student governing body in succession.

Head Girl : Seerat Kaur Sidhu (XII A)
President, Student Council: Veda Jain (XII B)
The highlight of the ceremony was the oath-taking, where the newly elected student leaders, adorned with badges, pledged to uphold the values and ethos of the school, in the presence of their parents and grandparents.
The Vice Chairperson ,Ms.Neerza Mayor congratulated the members of the Student Council and urged them to perform their duties with sincerity and integrity.
Addressing the new leaders, the Chief Guest shared his words of wisdom, encouraging students to lead by example and to strive for excellence in all the endeavours.
