Mayor World School organised a two-day Career Counselling Workshop for the students of Grades XI and XII on 27th and 28th October 2025. The session was conducted by Mr. Anshul Wadhwa, Co-founder of AptiGuide Consultancy Services, who guided the students about the wide spectrum of career opportunities available in India and abroad.
The core message of the discussion emphasised that choosing a career path aligned with one’s interests and abilities is far more important than conforming to social expectations or external influences.
Mr. Wadhwa engaged the learners through insightful discussions, real-life examples, and interactive activities that broadened their understanding of the diverse career paths open to them after school. He also underscored the importance of self-assessment and skill development in making informed and confident career choices.
The session provided valuable insights into emerging and established fields, ranging from Data Science and Business Analytics to Media Influencing and Hotel Management. It concluded with an interactive question-and-answer round, allowing students to clarify their queries and seek personalised advice.
The resource person appreciated the School’s initiative in organising such meaningful workshops that empower students to make well-informed decisions about their professional futures. The students, in turn, found the session highly enriching, engaging, and motivating.
