Mayor World School earned distinguished recognition for its exceptional sporting accomplishments at the Khelo India North Zone Tournament, conducted in Jammu and Kashmir from 18th to 21st December 2025.
The highly competitive event brought together athletes from seven North Zone states- Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh- making it a formidable platform of excellence.
Exhibiting exemplary finesse, resolve, and competitive acumen, the fervent Mayorites delivered a series of remarkable performances. Agamya Popli (VIII-A) and Ganeev Kaur ( VII-D) emerged triumphant in the Girls’ Doubles event, securing the First Position after a commanding run against 32 skilled opponents from all the participating states. In the Girls’ Individual Singles category, Ganeev Kaur asserted her dominance by clinching the First Position among 64 competitors, reflecting extraordinary consistency and mental fortitude.Adding to the string of successes, Agamya Popli delivered a standout performance to reach the Top Eight in the Singles division.
In recognition of their stellar achievements, Agamya Popli was awarded a cash prize of ₹8,000, while Ganeev Kaur received ₹16,000, further underscoring the magnitude of their triumphs.
These accolades stand as a powerful affirmation of the discipline, perseverance, and culture of sporting excellence nurtured at the institution.
