Mayor World School proudly hosted its Annual Investiture Ceremony on Monday, 10th August 2026, marking the formal induction of the newly elected Student Council for the academic year 2026-27. Prof. Manish Khanna, the Deputy Registrar and Associate Professor at D.A.V. College, Jalandhar, graced the momentous occasion as the Chief Guest.
Conducted with deep reverence and dignity, the ceremony highlighted the trust and responsibility the institution bestows upon its Student Council as they step forward to lead with dedication and resilience.
The proceedings commenced with the auspicious lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by an enthralling fusion dance performance by the exceptionally talented Mayorites, whose artistry and grace set the tone for an inspiring and unforgettable evening.
The event was further dignified by the presence of the Vice Chairperson, Ms. Neerza Mayor who presided over the function with distinction. The Vice Principal, Ms. Charu Trehan and the Head Mistress Mayor Galaxy, Ms. Preena Sablok also graced the event.
The beginning of the prestigious Investiture Ceremony was marked by marching of the Student Council with high degree of sincerity and discipline.
The Chief Guest, the Vice Chairperson , the Vice Principal , the House Mistresses and the Deputy House Mistresses conferred the badges upon the student governing body in succession.

Head Boy: Rajveer Khanna (XII B)
Head Girl : Nandita Tangri (XII C)
Captain, Student Council: Ditya (XII A)
Captain, Student Council: Krisha Jain (XII B)
The highlight of the ceremony was the oath-taking, where the newly elected student leaders, adorned with badges, pledged to uphold the values and ethos of the school, in the presence of their parents and grandparents.
The Vice Chairperson, Ms. Neerza Mayor congratulated the members of the Student Council and urged them to perform their duties with sincerity and integrity. She also extolled the Coordinators of Grades XI and XII, and all the educators for their untiring dedication, guidance, and meticulous efforts in mentoring the student leaders and organising a seamless, inspiring event.
Addressing the new leaders, the Chief Guest shared his words of wisdom, encouraging students to lead by example and to strive for excellence in all the endeavours.
The evening concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, followed by a solemn rendering of the National Anthem, bringing the momentous event to a patriotic close.
