Mayor World School organised the Inter House Eloquence Challenge – “I Inspire” for students of Grades III-V on 22nd July 2026. The event sought to nurture confidence, clarity of thought, and the power of persuasive speech among young learners.
The distinguished panel of judges comprised the Head Mistress of Mayor Galaxy, Ms. Preena Sablok, and the Head of the Department of English, Ms. Tanupriya.
Each house was represented by three participants, who delivered eloquent speeches of 2-3 minutes. The contenders were assessed on Relevance of Topic, Delivery Skills, Audience Impact, and Body Language.
The young orators captivated the audience with their diction and inspired peers with their thoughtful reflections. The results were announced by the Vice Principal, Ms. Charu Trehan. Keats House, represented by Arhaan Singh (V‑A), Aiza Soni (IV‑C), and Aadya Singal (III‑B), secured the first position, followed by Shakespeare House in second place, Dickens House in third, and Wordsworth House in fourth.
Special recognition was accorded to the Best Speakers: Aeman Sidhu (III‑E, Dickens House), Aiza Soni (IV‑C, Keats House), Kiahna Soni (V‑A, Shakespeare House), and Anshika Sharma (III‑C, Shakespeare House). The winners were felicitated with certificates and applauded for their creativity and eloquence. The comperes were also commended for their poised presentation.
The School Management encouraged all participants to continue honing their skills and extolled the convener for orchestrating the event with excellence.
The competition stood as a testament to the School’s commitment to fostering articulate, confident, and value‑driven individuals.
