Empathy in Action: A Visit to Mother’s Care Special School
To foster empathy and a deeper understanding of special needs, Mayor World School organised a meaningful visit for the students of Grade XII to Mother’s Care Special School, Jalandhar, on 25th October 2025. This institution is dedicated to nurturing children with multiple disabilities, offering specialised training across diverse skill areas tailored to their unique needs.
During the visit, the students engaged wholeheartedly in activities such as colouring, singing, and dancing, creating moments of joy and connection. In collaboration with the NGO Spreading Smiles, the School distributed confectionery and stationery items among the children-small gestures that lit up their faces with smiles and brought a sparkle to their eyes.
The experience proved to be profoundly enriching for the learners, instilling in them a sense of compassion, gratitude, and social responsibility.
