Mayor World School organised a programme- Abhinandan to exhibit reverence for the parents of its educators on 22nd September 2023 .All the members of the Mayor World Family were also felicitated for their contributions to the success of the School.
The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the honourable Vice Chairperson, Ms Neerza Mayor and the senior dignitaries.The celebrated comedian, Mr.Manpreet Singh was the guest of honour.
The fusion dance performance by the educators mesmerised the spectators.The Director, Ms.Sarita Madhok delivered the welcome address and expressed her gratitude to the parents for their presence.
She also asserted the importance of team work stating that it takes a whole orchestra to play a symphony.
The fervent educators presented a musical rendition , ‘Sukoon’ reminiscing the love, encouragement and unwavering support of parents.
A Nukkad Natak ,’Hamare Sanskar Hamari Pehchaan’ was also staged presenting a tale of affection, and sacrifice by parents.
‘Baghban Ki Dastaan’, a dance depicting the emotional journey of parents arrested everyone with its impassioned content.
The stand -up comedy, ‘Hasyaras Mehfil’ by Mr.Manpreet Singh, popularly known as Mr Comic Singh, had the audience in stitches.His risible repartees left everybody in splits.
The Deputy Vice Principal ,Ms Charu Trehan proposed the vote of thanks and appreciated all the members for their contribution.She expressed her special thanks to the parents for lending a great charm to the evening.
The event concluded with patriotic tunes of the National Anthem followed by dinner.
