Mayor World firmly believes that doing the little things can make a big difference. To make its students more considerate and insightful, a Blood donation camp and a book fair were organised in the school premises on 30th September 2023.
The Blood Donation Camp was arranged to promote a culture of voluntary blood donation.The Vice Chairperson ,Ms Neerza Mayor donated the blood and encouraged the educators and parents to come forward for this noble deed.Around thirty – five people including the Deputy Vice Principal,Ms.Charu Trehan donated the blood. The donors were given certificates and refreshments were also served.
The Book Fair also witnessed a great enthusiasm of parents and students.Wide range of books of all literary genres was displayed.It was an enchanting experience for the readers to browse books of varied tastes.The aim of the event was to inculcate the love for reading among the students.
A stall of beautiful artefacts made by the members of APAAR, a charitable trust of persons with intellectual disabilities, was also set up to make the visitors cognisant about their creative endeavours.
The Director,Ms.Sarita Madhok appreciated and thanked the parents for their fervent response.
