Mayor World School successfully conducted a two-day Capacity Building Programme on Ethics and Integrity for its educators on 27th and 28th May 2025. This initiative aimed to reinforce ethical leadership and cultivate a values-driven approach to education.
The programme featured Ms. Mamta Aggarwal,the Principal of Army Public School, Kapurthala, and Dr. Gurmeet Kaur Gill,the Principal of Dashmesh Nursery School, Mukerian, as the esteemed resource persons. Their insightful sessions underscored the essential role of ethics and integrity in shaping responsible educators and fostering moral development in students.
To deepen the engagement and bring ethical dilemmas to life, the educators actively participated in thought-provoking role plays, enacting real-world situations that demonstrated the significance of ethics and integrity in daily life. These dramatisations highlighted the challenges individuals face in making ethical choices and the impact of principled decision-making in personal and professional contexts.
Additionally,curated video presentations were showcased, illustrating powerful narratives that reinforced key themes of honesty, accountability, and ethical conduct. Through these visual depictions, educators explored varied perspectives, sparking meaningful discussions on upholding ethical standards in the academic sphere.
The programme also featured several interactive activities, designed to engage the participants in reflective exercises and collaborative problem-solving scenarios. These activities encouraged the educators to critically examine ethical dilemmas, share insights, and develop strategies to instill integrity in students.
