Mayor Galaxy,the pre-primary wing of Mayor World School celebrated “Graduation Day: Au Revoir” for the students of KG-II ,hosted by young Mayorites, on 21st March 2023.
The function took place in the auspicious presence of the Director, Ms.Sarita Madhok; the Principal, Ms.Harjeet Kaur Ghuman and the Deputy Vice Principal ,Ms.Charu Trehan.
The programme commenced with the Tilak Ceremony followed by Lighting of the Lamp and invoking God’s blessings. The august gathering and the guests were cordially welcomed and thanked for gracing the event. The arresting decorations were entirely splendid and a marvel to behold.
The festivities started with the classical fusion dance performance by fairies of Mayor Galaxy followed by an exquisite flower dance performance by students of Pre Nursery and Nursery.The sonorous Group song performance and the enchanting Western dance performance by KG I students, enthralled everyone.All the spectators were captivated by the cute story based dance ,Cookie Jar, enacted by Nursery students. The audience outpoured their love and adoration for the young Mayorites with radiant smiles.
On this occasion, the students were awarded with certificates and prizes for their splendid scholastic performances.
The confident Ramp Walk by KG II students stole the show.
‘Thank You’ song by the Kindergarten graduates expressing their love and gratitude for their teachers, parents and mentors for all the support , was really adorable.
The Headmistress Mayor Galaxy, Ms. Aarti Gulati addressed the audience with her enlightening words. She applauded the efforts of the parents, students, staff and the people associated for making this graduation ceremony a big success.
The event culminated with “Hand Holding” ceremony which was imbued with emotions. The teachers of KG II handed over the children to Grade I teachers. An incredible and stupendous performance was exhibited by all the children.
The Vice Chairperson, Ms.Neerza Mayor applauded the educators and the participants for their unwavering spirit and ardent participation.
The event ended with the National Anthem followed by high tea.
