To promote the spirit of sportsmanship and encourage the students to be an active member of their respective houses, Mayor World School organised Inter House Basketball matches for Girls ( VI-XII) and Boys (VI-VIII) on 29th April 2023.
The teams from all the four houses viz. Shakespeare, Wordsworth, Keats and Dickens played with ardour and high -octane energy.The ambience was electric with the cheers of the students and the enthusiasm of the participants.The spectators were excited and all the verve and energy would sprint to the spectators hands when their house’s player was about to attempt a field goal. This oneness within every house was really admirable.
Among Boys teams, Wordsworth House emerged victorious defeating Dickens House in an engrossing match. Girls team representing Shakespeare House came out triumphant followed by Dickens House at second position.
The School Management congratulated the winners and extolled all the four houses for exhibiting good team spirit and playing with fervour and zeal.
