Mayor World always ensures that its students expand their limits of learning and experience enthusiasm of embracing each day with the joy of acquiring knowledge. To nurture a love of learning new words in an engrossing manner ,the School organised an Inter House Dress Up Like A Word Competition for Grades III -V on 24th April 2023.
All the four Houses were allotted engaging themes for the presentation. Wordsworth House decked up their students on Festivity, Dickens on Vehicle and Transportation, Keats on Emotions and Feelings, and Shakespeare on Environment.
The participants ,embellished as eloquent words like Lackadaisical, Effervescence, Amazement, Merriment and Affable etc. arrested everyone with perspicuity of their diction and immaculate articulation.
Wordsworth House comprising Hunar Kaur Bains( III D),Aaira Jain (IV C) and Einaaz jain (V C) bagged the first position. Keats House grabbed the second.Shakespeare House clinched the third position followed by Dickens House at the fourth position.
Brithi Arora (VC) from Shakespeare House was applauded for the Best Diction and Hunar Kaur Bains( III D), for the Best Overall Presentation. All the contestants were given certificates.
The School Management extolled the endeavours of the participants and encouraged the students to participate in such events.
