“Origami is all about creating something new each and every time you take paper in your hands.”
Mayor World School, Jalandhar embraced the spirit of learning by hosting the Inter School Sahodaya Origami Competition on Saturday, 21st October 2023. The competition centred around the theme of ‘LIFE ON LAND.’
The primary aim of this event was to offer a platform to budding artists to unleash their latent creativity. The contenders from around twenty-eight renowned schools participated in this event. These young participants allowed their imaginations and artistic explorations to flow, resulting in magical expressions.
An esteemed panel of judges, comprising Ms. Geetika Jain, a creative and artistic entrepreneur and Ms.Pritha Trehan, an inventive architect and a proud alumna of our school, evaluated the participants’ creations.
Kamla Nehru Public School, Phagwara secured the first position whereas the second positioned was attained by Police DAV School, Jalandhar. Sri Chaitanya Techno School clinched the third position.
In recognition of the remarkable efforts of all the participants, the School Management extended their congratulations to the winning teams and their dedicated mentors for their outstanding performance in the event. The conveners of the event, Ms. Radha Sharma and Ms. Sharanjit Kaur were also extolled for their for efficacious endeavours.
