Investiture Ceremony is one of the formal occasions of a school where the newly
elected members of the esteemed School Council are formally vested with
their powers and positions.
The Investiture Ceremony of Mayor World School for the academic session 2023-2024 was solemnised with all its grandeur on 5th August 2023, in the school premises. The Vice Chairperson, Ms.Neerza Mayor presided over the function as the Chief Guest.
The ceremony was held with intense earnestness and symbolised the reliance and resilience that the institution entrusts in the newly formed senate of the School.
Donning the mantle of commitment and strength, the members of the Student Council vowed to discharge their duties to the best of their knowledge and skills, in the presence of their parents and grandparents who were warmly invited and welcomed by the institution.
The event commenced with lighting of the lamp ceremony, followed by a splendid dance performance on the School Song by the proud Mayorites. The beginning of the prestigious investiture ceremony was marked by marching of the School Council with high degree of sincerity and discipline.
The Student Council listened to the Director, Ms. Sarita Madhok’s motivational speech with pride and a sense of achievement surging in their hearts. She congratulated the newly elected members and urged them to fulfil their responsibilities with a clear conscience, setting the right attitude to work. The Deputy Vice Principal, Ms. Charu Trehan also urged them to perform their duties with sincerity and integrity.
Furthermore, the Student Council was conferred with badges by the honourable Chief Guest. The members took the oath to discharge their responsibilities with utmost sincerity and impartiality. The Vice Chairperson addressed them and motivated them to uphold the principles and values of the School and ignite the proverbial torch of excellence.

Addressing the new leaders, the Chief Guest outlined the duties of the new office bearers. She stated that the investiture is not just a symbolic function of imparting an insignia but a reminder to carry the legacy and principles of the alma mater.
The Head Girl and the Head Boy expressed their gratitude for the privileges bestowed on them. The event ended with the vote of thanks proposed by the President, Student Council, followed by patriotic tunes of the National Anthem.
