Mayor World School’s Pre-Primary Wing, Mayor Galaxy, celebrated its Annual Function on 10th December 2025 with remarkable splendour and youthful vibrancy. The event, themed “Aquathon – Splash, Sprint and Soar,” transformed the school grounds into a lively aquatic arena where the young Mayorites showcased their confidence, creativity, and sporting spirit. The atmosphere brimmed with excitement as children, parents, and educators came together to honour the joy of learning and the beauty of childhood.
The celebration was graced by distinguished dignitaries whose presence elevated the significance of the occasion. The Chairman Mr. Rajesh Mayor and the Vice Chairperson Ms. Neerza Mayor, whose visionary leadership continues to illuminate every milestone of the institution, presided over the event. The Vice Principal Ms. Charu Trehan added warmth and grace to the ceremony through her constant encouragement and guidance.
The School was honoured to welcome the esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Peeyush Sharma, whose inspiring words energised every budding athlete present. The Guest of Honour, Mr. Arvind Abrol, reaffirmed the value of sportsmanship and holistic development. Adding further charm to the celebration was the gracious presence of Ms. Camilla Gray, whose participation enriched the event.
The programme commenced with a heartfelt Welcome Speech by the Headmistress, Mayor Galaxy, Ms. Preena Sablok ,setting an inspiring tone for the afternoon. The symbolic Torch Lighting Ceremony followed, representing the spirit of determination and the triumph of youthful enthusiasm. A disciplined and vibrant Parade by Mayor Galaxy captured the audience’s admiration, showcasing the confidence and coordination of the young participants. The cultural and sports presentations unfolded seamlessly thereafter, beginning with an expressive Inaugural Dance by Grade KG II that beautifully reflected the aquatic theme.
The sporting events brought immense delight to the spectators. The Turtle Race by Pre-Nursery and the Jellyfish Race by Nursery students filled the grounds with laughter and encouragement. A touching dance performance, “Beetey Kal Se,” by Grade KG I highlighted innocence, hope, and the joy of togetherness. The Flat Races for Grades KG II and KG I demonstrated agility and sportsmanship, while the Mothers’ Race and Fathers’ Race added a spirited and heartwarming touch to the evening. The “Under the Sea” dance by Nursery students offered a magical glimpse into marine life, followed by the Pearl Race and Scuba Diving Race, which added adventure and excitement to the programme.All the winners were honoured with medals and certificates.
The event also showcased the School’s commitment to comprehensive development through a serene Yoga Performance by Grades KG I and KG II, promoting balance and mindfulness. A lively Zumba presentation by KG I students infused the atmosphere with energy and rhythm. The imaginative “Feed the Shark” Race by Nursery students captivated the audience, while a powerful Karate demonstration by Saisha Walia of KGI highlighted discipline, strength, and confidence. The Mermaid Race and the environmentally themed Beach Clean-Up Race by KG II students combined fun with meaningful awareness. The celebration culminated in an impressive Gymnastics Performance, reflecting dedication, flexibility, and teamwork.
The event culminated with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks,delivered by KG II Coordinator , Ms Naini Kohli. She extended her profound gratitude to the esteemed dignitaries, parents, faculty, and students for their unwavering patronage and spirited engagement. Furthermore, the School Management conveyed its sincere commendations to the Headmistress and the dedicated team of educators for orchestrating such a spectacular and impeccable presentation. The proceedings were brought to a dignified conclusion with the rendition of the National Anthem, a resonant chorus embodying unity, collective pride, and the shared ethos of the School.
