Mayor World School proudly organised the Sahodaya Inter School Poster Making Competition on 2nd August 2025, embracing the poignant theme-“Be the Voice for the Voiceless.” The event drew participation from around fifty schools, each contributing vibrant and thought-provoking posters that voiced concern for the voiceless flora and fauna. The young artists poured their hearts into their creations, using colour, symbolism, and design to advocate for those who cannot speak for themselves.

The competition was judged by two distinguished personalities-Ms. Pallavi Singh, a columnist with Hindustan Times and a certified life coach, and Ms. Devika, a noted digital illustrator and pattern designer. Their insightful evaluation celebrated the emotional depth and artistic finesse of the entries.

The Vice Chairperson, Ms Neerza Mayor  and the Vice Principal, Ms. Charu Trehan  encouraged the participants and applauded their commitment to the theme

The first prize was bagged by Aarav Bagga from  Woodland Overseas School, Hoshiarpur, whose poster evoked myriad emotions and conveyed a strong, resonant message through a striking interplay of colours and patterns. Jobanpreet Kaur from DIPS, Tanda, clinched the second position, while Guneet Kaur from Police DAV, Jalandhar, attained the third position.

The School Management honoured the winners and extolled the efforts of all contestants, acknowledging the passion and creativity that defined the competition.

Special commendation was given to Ms. Sharanjit Kaur, the  Head of the Department of Arts, for her meticulous planning and execution of this engrossing and prismatic event. The competition not only showcased artistic talent but also inspired reflection on a theme that calls for empathy, awareness, and action.
