Mayor World School conducted a special assembly on 13th March 2023 to make the students of Grade I understand the significance of the colours in their lives. This special event was enriched by the presence of the Vice Chairperson Ms. Neerza Mayor and all the senior dignitaries.The parents were also invited to witness the magic of shades and tints.
The assembly commenced with blessings of the Almighty.The lovely dance performance on the song ‘Awaara Bhanwre’ enthralled everyone present there Subsequently, a play was staged describing the formation of a rainbow. The highlight of the programme was to see the students attired in capes of different colours which made the whole event colourful and full of life. It also focussed on how a new colour is formed by mixing two primary colours. Next, there was a peaceful yet charming dance performance by little hearts on the Sufi song ‘Kun Faya Kun’ wherein all the students were dressed in white ,representing tranquility and serenity.
To engage the audience, an interesting quiz based on colours was also conducted. Before the conclusion of the event, there was an inspiring and motivational speech by the Deputy Vice Principal , Ms Charu Trehan. The assembly ended with the singing of the National Anthem followed by delectable breakfast.
