Mayor World School organised a special assembly for Grade V on 2nd December, 2023 based on theme-‘The healthier, The Happier’.
The show was graced by the discerning Vice Chairperson Ms. Neerza Mayor , the Director Ms. Sarita Madhok and the Deputy Vice Principal Ms. Charu Trehan.
The programme commenced with lighting of the lamp by the senior dignitaries. It was followed by a welcome address by the Deputy Vice Principal , Ms. Charu Trehan.
The programme further proceeded with a verse on ‘Healthy body and mind’ .This was succeeded by Yognatyam where students showcased their yoga skills.
To encourage healthy living and eating, students prepared an ‘Earthy Garden Salad’.
Dance is the language of soul. The students enthralled the audience with a satirical dance drama emphasising how complete health is achieved by eliminating mental stress. In the last part of the programme impeccable zumba and salsa performance by Mayorites intrigued the audience. The Vice Chairperson stated that such programs give a message to maintain good health and fill the children with self-confidence.
The show ended with the vote of thanks proposed by the coordinator Grade V, Ms. Nidhi Bhambri. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.
